Projects

What kind of projects do you do?

Architectural millwork and custom furniture in solid wood: doors, windows, screens, gates, beams and floors, plus furniture and interiors for hotels, restaurants and homes.

See projects →
Do I need an architect or interior designer?

It's not essential, but most of our projects arrive with drawings from a studio. The workshop's in-house design can help with individual pieces; for a whole house or hotel we recommend working with an architect or interior designer.

How we work with studios →
Do you mass-produce?

No. We make one-off pieces or short runs of 4 to 50 identical pieces. Projects with hundreds of identical pieces are evaluated case by case.

Do you make windows and doors with double or triple glazing?

Yes. Our windows, and the doors that have glass, can take double or triple glazing, and laminated or tempered glass for safety. With seals around the whole leaf, they insulate from cold, heat, noise and humidity.

Glass and insulation →
Do you make European-style windows?

Yes. We make tilt-and-turn windows, which swing open or tilt in from the top to ventilate, as well as casement, sliding, lift-and-slide, sash, awning and fixed windows.

Wood windows →
Do you work outside Oaxaca?

Yes. We work in Oaxaca City, the Coast, Mexico City, Valle de Bravo and other destinations, and we ship throughout Mexico. Outside Oaxaca, freight and installation travel are quoted separately.

Wood and finishes

Which woods do you use?

Mainly tzalam and macuil. We also often work with huanacaxtle (parota), cedar, katalox, granadillo, sapodilla and oak, and with other species such as mahogany, primavera or cypress, depending on each piece’s use and climate.

Do you work with melamine or MDF?

Not as a main product. Board only appears as an interior complement within a solid-wood project.

Do you combine wood with other materials?

Yes. We work with palm woven by Oaxacan artisans, wool from Teotitlán del Valle, leather and faux leather with local upholsterers, stone and marble with stonemasons and marble workers from the region, and brass and steel for structures or exposed details. We also customize pieces with laser engraving.

What finishes do you use?

Natural oils, waxes and professional varnishes, depending on the piece’s use and whether it will be indoors, outdoors or on the coast. We look for durable finishes that respect the color and grain of the wood.

Can I choose the tone or finish?

Yes. We show you options and, when needed, make color and texture tests on the project’s own wood before fabrication.

Can I see wood samples or visit the workshop?

Yes. For ongoing projects we prepare wood and finish samples, and we welcome visits to our San Andrés Huayápam workshop by appointment.

Lead times, investment and payment

How long does a project take?

A single piece takes 3 to 8 weeks; a mid-size residential project, 2 to 5 months; a whole hotel or house, 6 to 18 months, usually in phases. The exact timeline is confirmed in the quote. We do not take one- or two-week rush jobs.

Lead times →
What is the investment?

Every project is quoted in detail according to size, wood and finish. As a reference, our signature pieces start at MXN 24,000, doors and windows at MXN 30,000 per piece, interiors at MXN 40,000 and complete projects at MXN 300,000, before VAT and freight.

Reference investment →
How do I request a quote?

Fill in the project inquiry on the site or write to us with drawings or references, measurements, site location and estimated date. We first give you an order of magnitude and then a detailed quote per piece.

Start an inquiry →
How is an order confirmed?

With the approved quote and a deposit, usually 50%. The balance is paid on delivery. For phased projects, the payment schedule is agreed in the quote.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer, deposit, cash and card (in some cases with a fee).

Do you issue invoices?

Yes. We issue Mexican electronic invoices (CFDI). Share your tax details when you confirm the order: each invoice is issued within the month the payment is made. Our reference prices are before VAT.

Delivery and warranty

Do you install the pieces?

Yes, with our own team, in Oaxaca and in other states. Outside Oaxaca, freight and travel are quoted separately.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Our pieces are covered against manufacturing and material defects; the period depends on the piece and its use, and we confirm it in the quote. It doesn't cover damage from misuse, impacts or excessive humidity.

Do you maintain or repair furniture?

We maintain the pieces we make: refinishing doors and windows, adjustments and hardware replacement. We don't repair or install furniture made by others.

How do I care for a solid-wood piece?

Clean it with a soft, barely damp cloth and a few drops of neutral soap, then dry it right away; avoid multi-purpose cleaners and harsh chemicals. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat sources, keep the space ventilated in humid climates and use coasters on tables. Outdoor and coastal pieces need their finish renewed more often; we can take care of that maintenance.
