TIMBER STRUCTURES / WOOD STAIRS
What you touch on the way up.
On a staircase, the wood is what you step on and what you hold: treads have to take daily traffic and the handrail has to feel good in the hand. We make treads for concrete or steel stairs, and custom railings and handrails.
We use hardwoods such as oak, tzalam or katalox, and coordinate them with the project’s floor so the stair continues the same wood.

- Treads with a rounded nosing and a finish chosen not to slip.
- Firm fixing to the structure, with no creaks.
- Railings and handrails with the height and strength the use calls for.
- Installation by our own team.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Wood stairs and railings
How much does it cost to clad a staircase in wood?
It is quoted by number of treads, species, railing and installation. Send us photos or the drawing of the stair and we’ll give you a ballpark.
Do you build the stair structure?
We make the wood parts: treads, railings and handrails. The concrete or steel structure is handled by the construction team, and we coordinate with it from the drawings.
Which wood is best for stairs?
For treads, hardwoods such as oak, katalox or tzalam. If the project has a wood floor, it is best to use the same species.
