A wall that becomes furniture.
Wall paneling clads the wall in solid wood: it warms the space, softens echo and can integrate shelves, built-in furniture and lighting. We resolve it together with the doors, ceilings and floor so the whole interior speaks the same language.
We made paneling with integrated lighting at Monte Cáucaso in Mexico City, with Taller Herrero Arquitectos, and tzalam paneling and floor at Casa La Loma in Oaxaca.

Can lighting be built into the paneling?
Yes. Lighting is resolved from the design, with space for wiring and fixtures, as at Monte Cáucaso.
Does paneling move with humidity?
Solid wood moves a little with humidity. We fix it on a frame and leave joints that allow that movement without opening or warping.
