CUSTOM FURNITURE / WOOD TABLES

The piece everything gathers around.

A solid wood table lasts for generations when it is designed well: the top and base are sized for their use, the joinery lets the wood move without cracking, and the finish is chosen for a home or for a restaurant in daily service.

We have made tables for restaurants such as Criollo and Bacanora in Oaxaca, a huanacaxtle table for Hotel Boutique El Callejón and macuil tables for Casa Antonieta.

As a reference, a solid wood dining table starts at MXN 24,000 before VAT and freight. Price depends on size, wood, type of base and finish.

Which wood is best for a table?

Tzalam and macuil are stable and work for almost any table; parota is used for single-slab tables and granadillo for very hard tops.
